Solomon Out to Woo Partners

Solomon Software, provider of mid-market financial and business management systems, has recently launched ASP Partner Programs in Singapore. With the implementation of these programs, Solomon's local partners are offered the opportunity to become "Approved ASP Providers" or to utilise the services of an "Approved ASP Partner" and provide their customers with a wider variety of options for deploying Solomon IV e-business solutions.

"The concept of ASP as a real outsourcing option is flourishing and fast gaining acceptance by SMEs," said Laurent Dedenis, General Manager at Solomon Software, South East Asia.

Dedenis believed that the ASP market in Singapore has reached a certain maturity so the company hopes to boost market confidence and improve service level to their customers.

The three tiers of involvement include:

  • "Approved Solomon ASP Partners" provide services for the entire Solomon partner community. In order to be selected as an approved ASP Partner, the organization must have a history of successfully deploying Solomon IV, needs to meet very strict guidelines, and also be able to direct substantial annual marketing programs to Solomon IV partners.

  • "Approved Solomon Internet Service Providers" provide offering to either Solomon Software partners or directly to Solomon customers. In some cases, approved ASP partners are existing Solomon partners that want to get actively involved in ASP offerings by building a data centre.

  • "Approved Solomon Data Centres" are companies that concentrate on providing ASP infrastructure. Approved Data Centres work directly with Solomon partners to provide ASP services.
