Solomon Software to Increase Investment in Indonesia

Have you heard about Solomon before? This company has nothing to do with Dr. Solomon anti virus software. Solomon Software is an e-business application provider for small and medium enterprise. The company, which provides ASP (application service provider) and head quartered in the United States, is very optimistic about the e-business development in Indonesia, according to Laurent Dedenis, the General Manager of Solomon Software SEA.

Solomon has advantages over other business application especially for Indonesia geographical condition. "Flexibility is one of Solomon's primary strength over our competitor", Laurent explained during the Press Briefing at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta, on Thursday November 9, 2000. In addition to the ability to manage financial, distribution, project, service and procurement business operations, Solomon can integrate with existing applications within an organization. Solomon is known for its high adaptability. "This is why Solomon receives award almost every year as the most flexible business application", according to Fredy Tandiary, the County Manager of Solomon Software Indonesia.

Currently, Solomon has 45 customers in Indonesia. To increase support services and customer satisfaction, Solomon plans to double the team in Indonesia, which presently consists of 19 professionals.

"Our applications enabled our customer to provide better service, faster and more efficient because the data is managed centrally but the application can run any where and any time," Fredy added.

In August 2000, Solomon Software launched its new Solomon IV application for Business-to-Business (B2B). In February of 2001, Solomon plans to release its Business to Customer (B2C) application.
