Software Appoints New Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing; Creates
Vice President of International Sales Position
FINDLAY,
Ohio - Feb. 2, 2000 - Solomon Software, Inc., a leading provider of
mid-market financial and business management systems, announced today the
appointment of Patrick Fitzhenry as the company's senior vice president of
sales and marketing. Fitzhenry, a 13-year Solomon veteran, will be
responsible
for the continued development of Solomon's channel strategy, the growth of
product sales, and the expansion of Solomon's marketing and advertising
programs. In a related announcement, Patrick Shannon, has been named vice
president of Solomon's international sales.
In his new role, he
will be
responsible for working closely with Solomon's 19 international affiliates, and
growing Solomon's business abroad.

experience and proven success in all areas of the company's sales and marketing
functions, as well as with Solomon's partner development efforts, ensures his new
role will serve the Solomon channel partners and customers well," said

Fitzhenry
joined Solomon Software in 1987. During his tenure, he has held the positions
of senior vice president of communications, vice president of corporate
marketing, vice president of vertical markets, vice president of independent
developers programs, vice president of CPA programs and
relations,
and vice president of sales, Western Region. Prior to coming to Solomon,
Fitzhenry was a management consultant with Arthur Anderson and Price
Waterhouse.
Shannon
brings 17 years of experience in software sales and marketing to his new role
as vice president of international sales. In the past, Shannon has held senior
positions on both a national and international scale, including president of
two successful software firms and vice president of
sales and
marketing with a leading systems integration firm. He previously served as
Solomon's vice president and general manager of the Project Management Group.
Shannon was also president of Smith, Dennis and Gaylord, Inc., a software
publishing company located in Santa Clara, California, that became a wholly
owned subsidiary of Solomon.
