Softworld in Accounting & Finance - Solomon exhibited at the Softworld in Accounting & Finance in Los Angeles, November 3-4. During this show, Solomon conducted five demonstrations, giving prospects an opportunity to view Solomon's business management software up close. In addition, one of Solomon's existing clients represented Solomon on the Softworld User Panel Discussion on November 3.
Fall Comdex -November 15-19, Las Vegas. Microsoft is using Comdex as a venue to highlight the many features of its new operating system, Windows 2000. While Windows 2000 will not be officially launched until February, Solomon will take part in the Microsoft hoopla at Comdex by demonstrating the great user benefits of its Solomon IV for Windows 2000 application in the Microsoft Partner Pavilion

Beltmann Group Case Study
Beltmann Group, Inc. is North American Van Lines' largest agent, in both sales volume and hauling capacity. Beltmann has over 1,000 employees in 14 locations in 11 states and a fleet of over 700 specialized moving vehicles. The firm currently generates revenue of over $75 million a year.
Beltmann's legacy solution had not kept pace with several years of growth. No longer up to speed, their database created an information bottleneck that was compromising efficiency throughout the company. To remedy this issue, Beltmann needed an accounting solution that supported their existing Microsoft BackOffice-based information systems.
Beltmann decided to upgrade to Solomon IV from Solomon Software Inc. Running on Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, this cost-effective, open architecture solution provides a central database accessed over a WAN, linking all branch offices and headquarters. Solomon IV's modular design makes for easy customization and provides a solid platform for future applications.
Since implementing Solomon IV, Beltmann has experienced substantial increases in productivity. SQL Server 7.0 provides substantially faster reporting and user response time. Automatically performing inter-company transactions, Solomon IV eliminates costly errors in consolidating reports from branch offices.
