Solomon an ASP |
|
WHY not asks Laurent Dedenis, general manager of Solomon Software SEA, in regards to Solomon’s move to become an application service provider (ASP). People pay for what they use, and we can provide a better level of service and access to our clients. On the client’s side, they are free to move, not bound to one application. They can even integrate multiple applications, networking and operating system, and still maintain their ERP and CRM systems, he explains. Solomon’s ASP application is the Solomon IV, an ERP system which has 50 modules, such as finance, distribution, service, project, e-business and others. It has a customization manager feature which allows users to change, edit and use the system specifically customized to their needs. The cost of installation differs based on various needs in different industries. The GM says that the ASP venture will be country-specific because of varying broadbands in each country to support its solutions. Dedenis targets 25-30 customers in this new market venture by end of this year. |
